What a weekend..

Friday was Mr. Jerry's 60th birthday so we spent it cooking out in Potts Camp with the family! I love family cook outs!!
I was a little disappointed with how the cake came out. The main watermelon was supposed to be 3D but oh well a good time was still had by all!

Here's Pops with all the grandbabies! Lucas was startled by all the screaming to get the kids attention to smile... He's so sensitive!

Saturday and Sunday was spent  cleaning, playing with the boys and with friends..  Despite the fact we started it off with two sick boys it went alot better then predicted. Jackson started Thursday. He didn't sleep at all that night then woke up Friday morning with  spots all over his body. The doctor said it was the Chicken Pox's Cousin. I had never heard of that before and of course Lucas got it that night...  thankfully that nasty virus didn't last long! My poor sweet Lucas still looks pitiful! Speaking of Lucas, he is now all over the place in the walker! Just so hard to believe how fast they grow up, it's extremely sad.  Matthew decided to turn Jackson's bed last night into a  "big boy" bed. Basically only one side came down but it was a big deal to me and I think it was much harder on me then him! We did put a guard rail up last night. He was so excited when he saw it and jumped in it and laid himself down :) It did take him a little bit to go to sleep, I think his room looked different to him but he stayed in it all night and didn't wake up until 9 this morning! I walked in his room and he was as happy as could be on the floor playing! He is truly such a joy. Despite his random tantrums I am absolutely loving the toddler stage. He does the funniest things and I am so thankful that I have been able to be with him as long as I have to witness it all! Going back to work will be the hardest thing I ever have to do. I just don't understand all these mothers that let all this precious time with their babies go by. It makes me sad that they will never experience all the joy I have received from mine.

It still has the side wall up, I am not ready to take that off yet. We'll see how he does with it this way before we turn it into a complete toddler bed.
Lucas in his walker :)
